Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Type: Temporary - 12 months
Location: Hebden Bridge
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £24,868 pa
Industry: Health & Nutrition
As a Laboratory Technician, you will assist the team in delivering an efficient, high quality food allergen and authenticity analysis using ELISA and DNA/protein based methodologies
- Accurately follow laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures for the preparation and extraction of samples for analysis
- Working to strict deadlines to ensure compliance
- Complete all laboratory documentation in a timely and compliant manner
- To assist with sample registration using internal system as and when required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience in:
- Knowledge of allergen testing in food - highly advantageous
- Previous Laboratory experience - essential
- Qualifications within Chemistry / Bio Chemistry / Biology - essential
