We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and busy well established, independently owned dental practice in the heart of Old Town of Swindon. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to our patients and work collaboratively with our team. We are a mixed NHS/Private dental practice with full support from a Specialist Periodontist, Oral Surgeon, Special interest Endodontist, hygienists and therapists. We also offer treatments under sedation and implant rehabilitation.
· Independently owned practice.
· Available immediately with notice periods taken into consideration. Diary will always be very busy.
· Part time - Saturdays only
· Seven surgery dental practice.
Summary
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the examination of patients by providing necessary information to the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and observations.
- Ensure all dental instruments are sterilised and prepared for use according to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide a positive patient experience and address any concerns or questions.
