Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients regarding their oral health
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist licence or certification from an accredited institution
