Job Opportunity – Delivery Driver required at our new depot in Manchester
Broughton Plant Hire & Sales LTD are looking to recruit a full-time permanent delivery driver to help deliver our services to our ever-expanding customer base.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Complete daily checks to ensure the safety of the vehicle
- Delivering and collecting a wide variety of tools and equipment to our customers
- Maintain an organised travel schedule
- To effectively communicate with the Hire desk when required to be informed of any change of delivery, route, or schedule.
- Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practises
Key job requirements
- A valid clean UK driver’s licence
- 1 year delivery driving experience preferred
- Hard working and physically fit due to the nature of the equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Multi drop experience would be an advantage
- Previous experience within the tool hire sector is preferred but not essential
