Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our team to deliver classes to Afterschool clubs in primary schools Reading.
Current classes lined up that we need an instructor for are 4 afternoons a week term time only. The classes run 3.15-4.15pm. (£30 for an after school club session). As soon as we have found the right person we can look at the option to think about more hours if desired.
As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging dance lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their skills and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality dance lessons tailored to the needs of students at different skill levels.
- Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Organise and participate in studio events, performances, and competitions as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe teaching environment by ensuring all equipment is properly cared for.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dance Instructor preferred. Training can be provided if you are new to teaching but have dance experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles; additional certifications in dance education are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with children and parents.
