Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Pilates and Barre Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and a commitment to educating clients on the principles of Pilates. This role requires an understanding of anatomy and the ability to coach individuals effectively, ensuring they achieve their goals in a safe and supportive environment. We are a dynamic studio and expect our classes to be of a dynamic style.
Duties
- Conduct group and individual Pilates or barre sessions, tailoring classes to meet the varying needs of participants.
- Educate clients on proper techniques, ensuring they understand the fundamentals of Pilates and its benefits.
- Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing modifications as necessary to accommodate different fitness levels.
- Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and in good working order.
- Monitor clients’ progress and provide feedback to help them improve their practice.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client retention and community building within the studio.
Qualifications
- Certification in Pilates / Barre / Reformer from a recognised institution is required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and how it relates to movement is essential.
- Previous experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- A passion for health and wellness, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
