Roper Rhodes are a supplier of bathroom products with an excellent reputation of over 40 years. We are leaders in the bathroom furniture market with a share of around 33% of the total UK market. The company employs circa 250 people across our Bath office/Bristol warehouse. Our customers include major national retailers, national/regional builder’s merchants and a nationwide network of independent bathroom retailers. Products are manufactured to our own in-house designs from sources all over the world.
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our busy and friendly customer service team in our stylish Bath offices.
We are looking for someone who enjoys a busy environment, working as part of a team, prides themselves on providing good customer service and has excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
To deliver excellent service in all interactions with our customers.
To ensure that all communications, verbal or written, are clear and appropriate.
Through an effective telephone manner you will:
· Take orders from Customers over the telephone.
· Assist Customers with queries.
· Provide first-line technical advice.
Using our internal IT systems you will:
· Process orders.
· Answer queries and provide status updates.
· Organise and process product returns.
Maintain internal record keeping processes which link to tasks and activities.
Perform general administration tasks.
Learn to apply all Customer service processes and internal procedures.
Liaise with customers and couriers on the phone, email and through system interaction.
Perform any other reasonable task as requested by management.
KPIs
Incoming call-answering targets to be maintained.
Order accuracy targets to be maintained.
All pricing to be accurately processed.

Hours of work
39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30pm and Friday 9am – 5pm (plus one additional day a week you will finish at 5pm by prior arrangement with your Manager)
