Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting core financial processes including reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has held similar positions.

With a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach, you’ll support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and processes. You’ll be confident working independently but also enjoy being part of a team that supports each other and the wider business. Whether it’s liaising with suppliers or helping to resolve internal queries, you’ll bring a professional and solution-focused attitude to everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations (e.g. Shopify, cash, bank)
- Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate records
- Handle monthly and quarterly commission calculations
- Manage expense processing and ensure timely approvals
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reports
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve finance-related queries
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function
- Help with year-end in preparing financial reporting files and relevant supporting evidence is available for external accountants.
- Remain informed on all relevant risk assessment and H&S measures in place.
- Adhere to all H&S policies relevant to their role and department.
Experience & Attributes
- Previous experience in a finance role or department
- Strong IT skills, especially Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with Khaos Control or similar systems (desirable)
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience (desirable)
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset
- The successful candidate must have Right to Work in the UK.
