Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Conversion Rate Optimisation Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive CRO strategies for clients, focusing on improving lead generation, enquiry formsand sales conversions across websites and landing pages
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, execute and analyse A/B tests, multivariate tests and other methodologies to optimise user experience and conversion funnels
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse website analytics, user behaviour data and conversion metrics to identify optimisation opportunities and provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams
- User Experience Research: Conduct user research including heatmap analysis, session recordings and user journey mapping to understand customer behaviour and pain points
- Collaborative Campaign Support: Work closely with PPC, SEO and creative teams to ensure conversion optimisation aligns with broader marketing campaigns
- Client Communication: Present findings, recommendations and test results to clients through reports and strategy meetings
- Tool Management: Utilise and manage CRO tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely or similar platforms
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyse conversion performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
Essential Skills Required
- CRO Experience: Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in conversion rate optimisation across various industries
- Analytics Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other web analytics platforms
- A/B Testing Tools: Practical experience with testing platforms such as Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client presentations and internal collaboration
- Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to testing setup, data collection, and analysis
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative thinking and analytical approach to identifying and solving conversion challenges
Desirable Skills
- Industry Interest: Genuine interest in cars and the automotive sector
- HTML/CSS Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for implementing tests and understanding technical constraints
- UX/UI Design Knowledge: Understanding of user experience principles and design best practices
- CRO Certifications: Relevant certifications in conversion optimisation, Google Analytics, or digital marketing
- Marketing Automation: Experience with marketing automation platforms and their integration with CRO efforts
- E-commerce Experience: Understanding of e-commerce conversion optimisation and online sales funnels
