As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education when teachers are absent, ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide assistance to students in understanding and completing tasks.
- Ensure that students adhere to school policies and guidelines.
- Report any issues or concerns to appropriate staff members.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support the overall development of students.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Secondary School setting in the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different teaching scenarios.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
