About the role
The role of Concierge will be to deliver a responsive, efficient, high quality and customer focused estate management service, to ensure communal facilities and services provided in our properties are reliable, safe, and good quality. You should be able to show that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload. You must have the ability to think on your feet and take responsibility and ownership for the building and staff working closely with the head office Estates team and Property Manager.
The role of Concierge is your chance to have a front-line impact and influence us to create places where people want to live. You will take part in day-to-day tasks that will ultimately ensure the smooth running of the development including some caretaker duties and cleaning of the site.
You will also ensure that timely and quality services are always carried out.
Role Requirements
· Operate in line with the values of Livingcity Group of companies to deliver the highest levels of customer service. Provide a professional and knowledgeable estate and facilities service to residents in a range of developments and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
· Building inspections – inspect and grade communal areas and estates, raising any issues, following up with appropriate corrective actions.
· Building improvements – identify opportunities to improve a development.
· Facilities management – provide a responsive and efficient estate, block and facilities management service to ensure our residents’ communal areas are pleasant and well-maintained.
· Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and teams to ensure effective, efficient and customer focused delivery of services relating to communal areas, facilities, and estates.
· Maintain the necessary written/electronic records and systems to ensure accurate and complete records, including those related to communal inspections and health and safety checks.
· Oversee cleaning and ground staff where applicable with full HR support.
· Supervising and coordinating the work of contractors.
- Directing, coordinating, and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling
- Ensuring that the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
- Keeping staff safe
- Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
- Coordinating and leading the team to cover various areas of responsibility.
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
Candidate requirements
· Experience of residential management or similar experience of inspecting and assessing quality defined criteria and implementing solutions.
· Strong IT skills and proficiency using email.
· Able to demonstrate experience of delivering customer focused services in a demanding environment.
· Strong organisational skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· At all times follow safe system of work procedures set by the company
· At all times ensure structured processes relating to health and safety and hazards at work are followed.
· At all times ensure that correct lines of reporting followed in relation to safety at work
· Ensure dynamic risk assessments are undertaken when completing tasks involving the process of continuously of identifying hazards, assessing risk, and ensuring appropriate action is taken if risks are identified.
