Job Summary
The Compliance Coordinator provides essential cross-functional support across Qualifications Development, Quality Assurance, and Compliance. Working closely with Associate Directors and Heads of Department, the role ensures that projects progress smoothly, records are maintained accurately, and regulatory standards are upheld. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications Development
- Conduct initial research to support the business case creation for new products.
- Coordinate the development and review of qualifications, assessments, and learning resources, conducting both quantitative and qualitative research into qualification performance to inform design and improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and systems for tracking development projects.
- Support development events and provide secretariat duties (agendas, minutes, follow-ups).
- Proofread and format documents
- Collaborate in the construction of assessment questions on the assessment platform.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of qualifications and assessment materials by ensuring timely updates in response to changes in recommended reading, sector guidance, or regulatory expectations.
Quality Assurance
- Remind Centres and Assessors of upcoming deadlines.
- Support standardisation activities.
- Process facilitator applications.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of IQAs and EQAs.
- Conduct daily checks on remotely invigilated assessments.
- Support thematic reviews by chasing responses and collating feedback.
- Conduct remote invigilation.
Compliance & Organisational Support
- Maintain the central repository of policies, procedures, and SOPs; track review dates and remind owners of upcoming deadlines.
- Updating of the compliance tracker.
- Schedule and coordinate compliance meetings focused on specific regulatory elements; update tracker with outcomes and highlight changes to documents and impacted regulatory conditions.
- Monitor regulatory portals daily and share relevant updates with department heads.
- Assist with data submissions and communications with regulatory bodies.
- Track and chase HR-related documents and mandatory training deadlines.
- Support Subject Access Requests (SARs) in line with data protection policies.
- Maintain a record of significant organisational stories and achievements for potential industry award nominations.
Essential Skills

Desirable Qualifications or Experience
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- General management qualification
- Experience of working in a regulated awarding body / organisation
- Knowledge and experience of apprenticeship end-point assessments
- Knowledge and experience of the education environment
- Knowledge and experience of assessment methodologies
- Proven ability to operate as an effective tactical, strategic thinker and planner
- Utilising End Point Assessment software systems to manage and implement assessments
- Successful project management experience
- Knowledge of quality systems and processes
- Experience of working in a regulated environment

Hours
9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours contractual working week)
Interview Process
Stage 1 - CV and cover letter review
Stage 2 - Initial phone interview (20 minutes)
Stage 3 - Face to face interview and assessment taks (60 minutes)
