The Mayfield Day Centre Service provides a service for adults in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.

The role of the Support worker will include:
- Providing a high-quality person-centred care and support service
- Delivering daily support to people such as personal care, administration of medication, daily activities, and support.
- Empowering the people who attend our day centre to lead fulfilling lives.
- Treating people who attend the day centre with Dignity and Respect
- Be enthusiastic and flexible.

We are looking to recruit: -
1 Support Worker @ 37 hours per week.
Experience is welcome but it is not required as full induction will be given along with all necessary training and support however if you are caring, friendly and have a commitment to enrich people’s lives whilst treating individuals with dignity and respect, we would welcome your application.

Care4CE, who are the provider services for Cheshire East Council, offer services to adults with eligible needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and dementia.
What can you expect to find at Mayfield Day Centre?
- The service we provide at The Mayfield Centre is Person Centred; we support people in ways that help each person to live a full and valued life.
- Our Day Service provides for people who need support during the day and offers a safe, stimulating environment and activities.
- We provide a range of activities and opportunities within the centre offering a safe and rewarding environment which enables you to achieve. We ensure we meet individuals’ needs and develop your maximum potential.
- We enable people to make informed choices, take qualified risks and develop their personal skills and independence within a context of dignity and respect.
- We support people in ways that fit with service principles providing a good quality service. Our purpose is to help to create a safe and rewarding environment in which individuals are enabled to achieve positive outcomes.
You will receive;
- Membership of Local Government Pension Scheme
- 26 days leave entitlement from day one, rising to 31 days

This includes working a rota shift pattern between the hours of: -
Working hours:
8:30am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
No work on weekends and bank holidays
Start and finish times to be negotiated on an ongoing basis dependant on needs of service but will always be between 8am and 5pm.
