We're looking for Community Network Coordinators who will work with people to build connections with all our communities. You will work closely with our operational teams to coordinate and connect to new and existing networks and activities. Your key aim will be to lower barriers that make it harder for people to live good lives. You will work with people we support, their families and wider communities, to help people do the things that matter to them, and to have the resources and skills to keep them going.
You'll take the lead on volunteering activity and coordinate the management of volunteers in your region, and support colleagues across Mirus to see what exciting activities, groups or ideas are in our brilliant local communities.
This opportunity is being offered on a full-time basis - 37.5 hours per week and will be supporting our Bridgend and Powys areas. It is therefore anticipated that there will be some travel involved. A full UK driving License is therefore desirable.

What you'll be doing:
- You'll help the people we support access volunteering opportunities.
- You'll facilitate and lead volunteering activities on a regular basis.
- You'll seek out and develop opportunities for people we support in the regions where you'll work
- You'll work with managers to upskill their teams to work with people supported to plan and engage in activities.
- You'll take the lead on the development of Mirus volunteer-led projects
- You'll support the recruitment and induction of new volunteers
- You'll lead on engagement opportunities with external organisations
- You'll support and develop the marketing and promotion of community networking and engagement activities.
- You'll Identifying appropriate grants relating to the regions where you work
- You'll help prepare grant applications where appropriate.
- You'll collect and present information and insight relating to Mirus networking activity, internally and externally.
