We are now looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Coffee Roastery Assistant to join our production team and support the growth of our wholesale and online business.
Role Overview
The Coffee Roastery Assistant will play an essential role in the daily operations of the roastery. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring wholesale and online orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, maintaining stock levels, and assisting in quality control processes. Over time, you will also receive hands-on training in coffee roasting and coffee selection, giving you the opportunity to develop into a skilled member of our roasting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch wholesale and online shop orders in line with set timescales.
- Wholesale Management: Monitor and respond to wholesale emails throughout the day to ensure smooth and timely customer service.
- Stock & Packing: Fill, pack, and restock coffee and other products, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
- Quality Control: Assist in cupping (tasting) new coffees and providing feedback for quality assessment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the roasting team to support daily operations and maintain efficiency.
Training & Development
Once settled into the role, you will receive full training in:
- Coffee roasting techniques and best practices.
- Coffee selection, profiling, and tasting evaluation.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
