MAP Maison is on the search for a talented and well-presented Bartender. MAP Maison is a cocktail bar situated between Shoreditch and Dalston specialising in Japanese whisky, cocktails and small plates.
The right candidate is expected to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm to provide five-star service to all our guests. This position will suit a social person whose main drive is to provide an excellent and memorable experience for all guests.The management team will give you all tools necessary to constantly develop yourself.
Your duties will include:
- Working closely with the team to learn the correct ways of service and how to improve the guest experience
- Recommend whiskies based on the guests preferred taste and described flavour profile
- Working closely with the Bar Manager to continuously develop new cocktails
- Carry out the various masterclass concepts and tastings that the Company offer its guests
- Running every service efficiently with great attention to detail and achieve guest satisfaction
- Working on the floor, conversing with guests and assisting them in making a great choice
- Ensuring every single guest is looked after and enjoying themselves
- Building a positive relationship with our regular guests
- Assisting with other tasks in the venue as required
- Assisting at MAP Maison's sister venue La Bibliotheque next door when required
- Keep the bar and venue clean at all times
Candidate:
- Strong knowledge in whisky, preferably Japanese
- Strong background in cocktail bartending
- Willingness to develop your whisky knowledge further
Candidates must have the right to work and live in the UK.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
