We are looking for a bubbly Childminding Assistant to join our setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, while also engaging them in activities that will help them grow and develop. This includes supervising playtime, helping with development by creating activities and completing observation and preparing meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and a commitment to providing the best possible care for our children.
Possibility of needing to complete a Level 2 Childcare qualification, alongside working at the setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and secure environment for the children.
- Engage in activities with the children, such as reading, playing games, and doing crafts.
- Provide meals and snacks for the children.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment for the children.
- Monitor the children's activities to ensure their safety.

- Be able to respond quickly in an emergency situation.
- Communicate effectively with parents about the children's activities and needs.
Job Types: Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £7.50-£12.00 per hour
