Clinical Research Coordinator

University of Oxford
£34,982 - £44,382 a year
Oxford, England
Full time
We are seeking to recruit a highly organised and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team and support the European Clinical Research Alliance on Infectious Diseases (ECRAID) project, part of the ERGO (Epidemic Research Group Oxford) portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge international initiative designed to deliver rapid, high-quality research responses to infectious disease threats. ECRAID is a pioneering consortium aimed at building a sustainable European clinical research network for infectious diseases, with a strong focus on antimicrobial resistance and emerging infections. It builds on the achievements of major European projects, including COMBACTE, PREPARE, and RECOVER.
As Clinical Research Coordinator, you will work under the guidance of the Clinical Trials Manager, supporting the setup, conduct, and ongoing management of complex, multinational clinical trials. You will play a central role in coordinating study delivery across multiple work packages and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), sponsor requirements, and all relevant regulatory frameworks.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in biomedical science, public health, clinical research, or a related field, along with experience in a clinical research environment, ideally involving the coordination of multi-site studies. You will have a solid understanding of research governance, GCP, and ethical requirements, as well as hands-on experience with clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture tools. Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, combined with the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively, are essential for this role.
Applications for this vacancy should be made online and you will need to upload a supporting statement and CV. Your supporting statement must explain how you meet each of the selection criteria for the post using examples of your skills and experience. Please restrict your documentation to your CV and supporting statement only. Any other documents will be requested at a later date.
This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract until 26 February 2026 and is funded by the European Commission.
Only applications received before 12 midday on 29 July 2025 will be considered. Please quote** 180817 **on all correspondence.
