The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established clinical administration service at St Richard’s Hospice. This new role has been recognised as pivotal to support the day to day working of the hospice clinical teams. The appointed individual will work across the Family Support Team and the Integrated Community Teams, supporting the administrative needs of both services. The individual will also be expected to support the Family Support Referral Line providing telephone support and advice to patients, families pre and post bereavement, and any professionals.

The role is full time and the working pattern will be over a 2-week rota to provide equitable cover to both clinical services. The post holder will also be required to provide weekend cover for the hospice In-patient Unit on a rota basis approximately every 5 weeks; this will also include covering Bank Holidays equitably with colleagues. There are enhancements for weekend work.

This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About you

The role will require a flexible individual with good emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills who can manage conflicting demands on their time. The post holder will have prior administrative experience and will bring a professional and steadfast approach to the role.
