A job opportunity has become available for cleaning Supervisor in the S2 2JQ area. We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to manage a team of cleaning operatives.
Your will be responsible for ensuring routine planned and periodic cleaning, monitor all areas for cleaning standards and the use of materials as necessary, stock control and requesting orders, arranging sick/holiday cover, lock and secure building at end of every day, dealing with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner referring to your Contract Manager where appropriate.
Specific duties to include a specified area to clean, classrooms and toilets. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. They will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate with Contract Manager and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services provided.
- Locking up school and monitor cleaning standards providing feedback.
Qualifications
- Proficient in English with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
