6 Hours/week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starts 5pm - YO8 4DT
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for all. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Interact with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to providing a positive experience.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles that may require travel between locations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
