Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at a clinic located at 60 Harley Street, London, W1G 7HA. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control within a healthcare setting. Your work will directly support the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties in clinical areas, offices, restrooms, and public spaces to maintain strict hygiene standards.
- Follow infection control procedures to ensure a safe healthcare environment.
- Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and products in accordance with training and guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns promptly.
- Monitor and manage cleaning stock and supplies as required.
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with staff and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
- Participate in training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning protocols, especially within healthcare settings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, ideally within a healthcare or clinical environment, is desirable.
- Strong command of English for clear communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good organizational skills and reliability.
- Flexibility to adapt to clinic needs and schedules.
Role Details
- Location: 60 Harley Street, London, W1G 7HA
- Hours: 18 hours per week (3 hours daily, Monday to Saturday)
- Monday to Friday: Before 8am or after 8pm
- Saturday: Before 9am or after 6pm
- Rate of Pay: £13.85 per hour (paid monthly)
- Start Date: Monday 8th September 2025
- Additional Requirement: A deep clean is scheduled for Saturday 6th September 2025, which the successful candidate will be required to attend.
