We are looking for an experienced, hard working and reliable Cleaning Operative to come and join our friendly team at a school in Harlow, Essex!
Please be aware you must have a current enhanced DBS check to apply for this position. and be able to start on 1st September 2025.
Monday to Friday (term time only)
15:30 - 17:30
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to a high standard.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms and communal areas, focusing your attention on your specific area that you will be allocated.
- Empty bins and replace liners as needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations for maintaining cleanliness standards as well as follow supervisor instructions when given.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough task completion.
- Good time management skills to efficiently fulfil assigned duties within designated timeframes.
Job Type: Part-time
