Holiday Cover Cleaner: (this is a temporary position)

Rate:
Employees £12.50 per hour
Self-employed: £13.75 per hour
Hours: 20 per week (Monday to Saturday)
Shift: mornings.
Length of cover: one week.
Job Specification:
Internal (blocks)
- Collect and dispose of any free newspapers, advertisements, and unsolicited mail from communal areas.
- Wipe down and disinfect all light switches, door handles and letterboxes.
- Clean and sanitise the intercom system, focusing on buttons and touch screens.
- Thoroughly sanitise all door handles, including entry and exit points.
- Clean and disinfect push plates on doors.
- Clean and disinfect all handrails and bannisters in communal areas.
- Perform spot cleaning on communal doors to remove fingerprints, smudges, and marks.
- Spot cleaning of internal glazing (windows).
- Remove cobwebs from ceilings, corners, and other areas within reach.
- Clean the interior and exterior of lifts, including walls, floors, and control panels.
- Vacuum carpets and other internal flooring to remove dirt and debris.
- Mop hard floors ensuring they are clean and free of streaks.
External:
- Remove any cobwebs from corners, ceilings, and around the door frame.
- Sweep the entrance the stairs. Rinse on hot days.
- Collect and dispose of litter from the car park and communal garden areas, ensuring these spaces are clean and tidy.
- Empty the outdoor bins.
- Disinfect the bins area to neutralise any unpleasant odours.
