Pickstock Foods is a leading supplier of high-quality Lamb and Mutton products, dedicated to delivering excellence to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Chilled Warehouse and Despatch Operative to join our team at our Hartshorne facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the receipt, storage, and loading of chilled products in a hygienic and efficient manner. These products are heavy and the movement necessary is consistent.
- Ensure stock is packed away correctly and that all documentation is accurate.
- Monitor and record fridge and freezer temperatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Stock Takes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Ability to work in a chilled environment.
- Forklift license is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
