Heartwood Care group is seeking support workers to join their Learning Disability homes based in Gidea Park,London on a full-time basis.
We are currently seeking passionate Support Workers to join our exceptional team, dedicated to empowering our young people to achieve transformative and lasting positive outcomes.
Pay: £12.90-£13.70 per hour
Contracted Hours: 40
Shift Patterns- 7:00am-10:00pm and sleep in/7:00am-8:00pm
Sleep inn-£45 pounds(11pm-7am)
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy.
- Promote young people’s involvement in all areas including service delivery, quality assurance and organisational development.
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal colleagues and external bodies alike.
Requirements
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Learning difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support.
- Empowering, approachable and resilient worker who can inspire young people to engage in all aspects of their daily routine
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce) are desirable.
