PARTY HOST & FRONT OF HOUSE (weekends and school holidays)
We have positions available for party hosts to work flexibly between Saturday and Sunday weekly, plus additional shifts during school holidays.
You will be the face of the centre, welcoming guests, parties, taking food and beverage orders and more.
This is a highly rewarding job that requires you to interact with the public and other team members and ensure that correct procedures are met. It’s a fast paced environment and you’ll work alongside a great team.

WE REQUIRE:
- Working 1 day at the weekend weekly + up to 3 extra days per week during key holidays

JOB TYPE:
The position we are looking for currently is:
- 1 weekend day per week + up to 3 extra days per week during key holidays
- Part-time will include weekends and bank holidays.
- Pay: 16 - 17 years £7.70p/h, 18 - 20 years £10.15p/h, 21 years + £12.35
- Minimum age to apply 16 years
- Rota is given 2 - 3 weeks in advance
- Shifts are set and dictated by party bookings

THE ROLE OF PARTY HOST:
You will be the face of the centre's funtastic parties!
A typical day looks like:
- Checking the party room is set up and ready
- Setting up dedicated seating for the adults attending
- Double checking everything is in place to welcome your party including liaising with the kitchen and on duty manager regarding your upcoming party
- Have the guest list ready and to hand
- Welcome your guests and pay extra special attention to the party child
- Ensure the parents are comfortable and happy
- Liaising with the kitchen and update regarding food
- Be attentive to your guests needs
- Ensure guests are having the best time possible
- Have good time management to ensure the party runs smoothly and to schedule
- Prepare any further activities such as Teddy bear Building, Disco Room & Mascots
- Liaise with the parents regarding the birthday cake
- At all times be attentive and on hand to make the party extra special
- Be proactive and clean the party room thoroughly so we can welcome the next guests knowing everything is clean, safe and ready to use. This can include:
- Hoovering
- Cleaning tables, chairs and highchairs
- Mopping
Extra duties will be required to help the centre run smoothly such as serving in our cafe, cleaning the centre and/or helping with other parties, play sessions and the kitchen.
Leisure / hospitality experience a plus!
