Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Apprentice Childminder to provide exceptional childcare within our setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role requires someone who is not only responsible and reliable but also capable of fostering a positive relationship with the children while supporting their developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions.
- Assist with educational activities to promote learning and development.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment in line with household standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Provide support in basic tasks related to childcare, such as nappy changes or tidying up toys.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare is preferred.
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- First Aid certification is highly desirable, however training will take place after start date
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being and development.

Pay: From £7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
