We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working childcare practitioner to join our nursery team based at Chestnut Nursery School Ray Lodge, IG8 7PG.
The Role
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. Ray Lodge is open between the hours of 7.45am-6pm
Requirements
The successful applicant will need to have…
- Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
- Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
- Experience
- Level 2/3 qualified
- Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)
- Work well within a team
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills and time-management
Key Duties

- Building relationships with key children and their families
- Provide a stimulating learning environment
- Record and promote development
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of the children
- Support daily routines
- Follow policies and procedures
