Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in your care. This position requires a nurturing individual who can create a positive environment while effectively communicating with both children and their families.
This position is to run an after-school wrap-around club at a school based in Staffordshire, ST9. This will take place on a weekly basis on Mondays, 3:15pm-4:15pm, term time only.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Create fun and stimulating lesson plan to meet children's individual needs
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure that the childcare environment is clean, organised, and conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or supervising roles is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to access location to school
- Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or willingness to have a new DBS check processed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
