Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Surveillance Operator to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance equipment, ensuring the safety and security of our premises, and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live video feeds from surveillance cameras to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations through detailed report writing.
- Collaborate with security personnel to respond effectively to any incidents or emergencies.
- Conduct regular checks of surveillance equipment to ensure functionality and report any malfunctions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on site.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in surveillance operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in surveillance or security roles is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and concisely.
- Certification in First Aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent observational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Proficient in using surveillance technology and equipment.
