Horizon Healthcare Homes are currently seeking casual support workers to support individuals with learning and physical disabilities and other complex needs at our 8 bed home in Huddersfield (HD2).
We are looking for someone who has a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives; has the energy to contribute to a stimulating and varied environment and is passionate about supporting the people who will live at the home to live as independently as possible.
Casual hours are available based on 12 hour shifts from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am. Although previous experience is preferred, full training will be provided for the candidates who can demonstrate the attributes that we are seeking in our staff. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Successful candidates would be expected to support the people who live at the home with all aspects of their daily living which could include:
- personal care,
- activities within the house and in the community,
- daily living skills,
- promoting independence.
