The opportunity has risen for a part time caretaker/maintenance role.
Working days and hours will be:
Monday - 7.30am - 11.30pm
Wednesday -7.30am - 11.30pm
Friday - 7.30am - 11.30pm
Salary -£12per hour.21
Previous experience of caretakering is required.
Caretaking duties will include:
- rotating bins in binstore
- cleaning of external areas including binstore, car park and courtyard
- building checks when on site and reporting any issues to line manager
- gritting paths in winter
- fire alarm testing and lighting testing (training will be provided)
- obtaining gas/water meter readings when required
Over seeing Cleaning duties too if accidents happen when cleaners not on site. will include:
- vaccuming
- mopping
- dusting
- cleaning of windows internally
- cleaning the lift
(Only cleaning if needed when cleaners not on site if an accident happens)
minor repairs and handyman issues if needed but mainly to report to manager when issues arise around site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good physical condition to handle cleaning equipment and perform tasks efficiently
