Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced person to carry out general site maintenance and tidying duties both inside and outside. You will be working alone.
Your goal is to help maintain the condition and appearance of our site.
Main Duties
- Tidy designated external areas (jet washing, path sweeping, litter picking, emptying of bins, etc)
- Make minor repairs
- Simple painting and decorating jobs
- Weeding, pruning, planting, watering and spraying
- Clear areas and load skips
- Perform ad hoc cleaning tasks during the day and heavy cleansing tasks
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Replenish supplies where needed
- Notify management of any deficiencies or needs for repair
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure the cleanliness of all areas
- Assist other staff with any heavy lifting tasks
- Assist in other areas of the business if and when required
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience
- Excellent references
- Ability to handle heavy loads safely
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- A clear understanding of safe working practices
- Integrity and trustworthiness
