EXPERIENCED Grounds Maintenance Operative
We are currently seeking an experienced full-time grounds maintenance operative for the Croydon/South London area. Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 4pm approximately.
We offer a competitive rate of pay with potential for performance related pay increases.
You will provide grounds maintenance services to various school sites across the Croydon borough and into South London. For the right candidate this is a secure long term employment prospect.
You must be a hard working, self motivated, reliable and honest individual.
Experience in grounds maintenance using strimmers, hedge cutters, grass mowers, leaf blowers is a MUST. Ideally you will have PA1 / PA6 but this is not essential as training can be given.
You will work either on your own or as part of a team. PPE, equipment training and support for the role you will perform will be provided.
You MUST have a full and valid UK driving license. You MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK. You MUST be able to get to our depot at Sanderstead.
This position requires a DBS check to work within a school environment which will be paid for by the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular groundskeeping tasks to maintain the appearance and health of landscapes.
- Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools for effective landscape maintenance.
- Assist in construction and gardening projects as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Drive to different locations as required, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,412.00-£32,000.00 per year
