We require an enthusiastic and caring individual with good communication skills to assist a young man with multiple and complex needs, to support him to engage with his local community and assist him with day-to-day living.
This role will require someone who can support the young man in all aspects of his home and social life by following his detailed care plans and not being afraid to join in activities and use humour as a form of distraction. You will work alongside other PA’s out in the community when a 2:1 is required due to challenging behaviour as well as independently when appropriate within the home. Some personal care also required.
No two days are ever the same when you will be attending group activities in the community, getting outdoors, swimming, trips to places such as Alton Towers just to name a few.
Driver essential who can drive the mobility car.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided, finding the right person is key.
A DBS will be paid for by the employer and references required.
Salary up to at £20 per hour at weekends, £21.50 weekdays
Enhanced rates for bank holidays
2 weekly rota’s in advance
