You will be providing all aspects of personal care during the day for a young person with multiple learning and physical disabilities (including supplementary oxygen), and a delightful personality.
This placement is in a family home in a beautiful rural setting, with some outings.
You will need to be:
- understanding of social care, especially of people with learning disabilities
- patient, resourceful, reliable and a good communicator
- physically fit and healthy
- a non-smoker
- a car driver
You will ideally have:
- a fun personality, good sense of humour and a relaxed yet organised attitude.
- some knowledge of Makaton sign language
You will need to provide:
- Two references and an enhanced DBS check at no expense to the job seeker.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.90 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
