Job Overview
HW CARE UK Ltd are recruiting for a part time 20 hour position. Carer is to attend clients home twice a day, AM and Pm visit. working 1 hour in the morning and 2 in the evening.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support patients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication administration.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia care needs.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Patience and empathy when dealing with individuals facing physical or cognitive challenges.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
