Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Supervisor to join our team within a Domiciliary care provider. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients in the community. This role involves supervising staff, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, manage staff and client rotas and maintaining effective communication with both team members and families.
Duties
- Supervise and support care staff, ensuring they provide high-quality care in accordance with best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Rota Scheduling and management.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all clients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and staff performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services and support for clients within their homes.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
- This role requires a level of flexibility in working pattern (to accommodate staff AL and sickness cover).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within domiciliary is essential.
- Strong understanding of senior care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and care staff.
- Proven leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving high standards of care.
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software applications.

- A valid driving licence and access to own care is essential for this role.
- Shifts pattern between 7am-11pm weekdays - required to work every other weekend.
- Requires travel around the Dengie area - Office based in Mayland, CM3 6EG (will need to be living within the local area).
