We are looking for a Care Navigator to join our friendly practice on a part-time basis. This is a temporary fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover, expected to last approximately 9 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the employee's return date.
Hours: 14.5 per week (minimum) - These are the confirmed core hours for the role. There is a possibility of additional hours becoming available, but this cannot be guaranteed at this stage.
- Monday 13.00 - 18.45
- Wednesday 13.00 - 17.30
- Thursday 14.30 - 18.45
You must have previous admin experience and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.
You will be the first point of contact for patients and other contacts, you will book patient appointments, deal with general enquiries, and support the day to day running of the practice.
We are open to patients 08:00–18:30, Monday to Friday, and shifts will be scheduled within these times. Applicants must be fully flexible to work their shifts as required within these hours. Please ensure you can commit to this availability before applying, as we are unable to accommodate restrictions outside these times. There will also be the occasional requirement to work a late night (until 8pm).
