Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in our care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English and have the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence while providing companionship and emotional support.
- Follow care plans meticulously to ensure that each individual's needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all training is completed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome applicants who are eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with residents and colleagues.
- Familiarity with IT systems used for managing care plans would be beneficial.
