Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all food safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
- Support catering events by preparing and serving food as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient café operations.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary.
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere by engaging with customers and promoting menu items.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous.
- Experience in catering or bartending would be beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others and ensuring customer satisfaction.
