Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food management, ensuring that our café provides exceptional service and high-quality food offerings. This role requires effective team management, adherence to food safety standards, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of café operations, inventory management, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service while fostering a positive team environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase café revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
- Monitor stock levels
Skills
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hotel or hospitality industry, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with experience in team management and staff development.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members alike.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
