The Role

Were looking for a new member of our Business Support Teamto join us on a temporary basis with an immediate start. As our next BusinessServices Team Member, youll be the kind of person who spots what needsdoing, takes initiative, and brings a positive, solutions-focused mindset toevery task big or small. If youre someone who loves variety, thrives onbeing a reliable source of support and enjoys keeping things running smoothlybehind the scenes, then this is your chance to jump into a fast-paced rolewhere your contribution at InterGen will be felt from day one.

This is a primarily office-based role due to thenature of the responsibilities, however, were open to candidates working 12days from home per week, where appropriate. Well ask about your preferredworking pattern as part of the application process.

The Team

The Business Support team forms an integral part of InterGenand how we operate. We are a supportive team of high performers who are drivenby shared goals and a desire to succeed. The nature of this role means you willhave the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across all areas of our InterGenand regularly engage with external service providers.

Our Edinburgh office is a friendly and exciting environmentenhanced with regular company-funded social events and seasonal gatherings, ortime spent raising funds for our chosen charities.

What youll be doing

Administrative & Operational Support

Youll be at the heart of our Edinburgh office operations deliveringdependable day-to-day administrative support and keeping everything runninglike clockwork. From coordinating meetings and managing diaries to setting uprooms with refreshments and handling mail, youll be the go-to person for allthings office related. Youll maintain and improve our filing systems, supportgovernance documentation, and any other admin support when needed. Whether itsstreamlining processes or simply making sure the little things are taken careof, your attention to detail and proactive approach will make a real impactacross the team.

Travel & Expenses

Youll also play a key role in supporting our team withtravel and expenses ensuring submissions are accurate and timely, and thattravel bookings are made cost effectively and in line with our policies. As thefriendly face of our front-of-house, youll welcome clients and visitors withprofessionalism and warmth, while handling reception duties like callmanagement, meeting room setup, and hospitality. Your approachable presencewill help foster a positive and productive office environment, making you a valuedpart of the team from the moment you step through the door.

Project & Process Support

Youll have the chance to get involved in projects andprocess improvement initiatives across the Business Support function. This is agreat opportunity to develop yourself by taking ownership of specific tasks,collaborate with colleagues, and build new skills along the way. Whether you'restreamlining admin processes or suggesting practical improvements, your ideasand initiative will help shape how we work and make a real difference to theteam.
