Job Title: Builder, Painter, and Decorator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Builder, Painter, and Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and experience in various construction and maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to work, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You will be involved in multiple maintenance projects, contributing to the overall upkeep and success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction, maintenance, and renovation of B&B and restaurant facilities.
- Perform basic carpentry work, including framing, roofing, and finishing.
- Carry out painting and decorating tasks.
- Perform masonry duties, including bricklaying and blockwork.
- Support plumbing activities by assisting qualified tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to construction and maintenance.
- Experience in electrical work is advantageous.
- Carpentry skills, with an understanding of roofing techniques, are preferred.
- Ability to perform painting tasks with attention to detail.
- Basic plumbing knowledge with a willingness to assist in installations or repairs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills on-site.
