Painter Decorator

Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Painter Decorator to join our Facilities team!

As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for painting and decorating to support the long-term upkeep and appearance of our hotels and park facilities. Your work will help ensure that all areas remain clean, well-presented, and welcoming for guests.

You’ll also carry out day-to-day reactive maintenance, responding to damage or wear and tear in both guest-facing and back-of-house areas. Your ability to deliver quick and effective repairs will play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Health and safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all relevant procedures and regulations, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while always working safely and professionally.

This is a part-time role, with a minimum guarantee of 20 hours per week.

• A painting and decorating qualification is desirable but not essential
• Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Confident engaging with the public and delivering a high standard of customer service
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build sound working relationships
• Well-presented and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship
• Skilled in painting, decorating, surface prep, and finish application
• Experienced with brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and colour matching
• Able to remove old finishes and apply primers, undercoats, and glazes
• Wallpapering and safety line marking experience a plus

• An hourly rate of £15.10
