We're Hiring: Brand & Packaging Designer (Visual Identity + In-Store Experience)

Your Role in a Growing Artisan Brand
Edinburgh Honey Co is expanding — with new products, new experiences, and a bold visual identity to match. We're looking for a Brand & Packaging Designer who can bring that vision to life across packaging, in-store visuals, and physical brand touchpoints.
You’ll work from our shop-based studio in Morningside (and occasionally Leith), where your designs will go from screen to shelf — often within the same week. You'll collaborate closely with our content creator, PR lead, and social media coordinator to make sure every customer experience, online or in-store, feels beautifully connected.
This is a great opportunity for a creative thinker who’s ready to grow into a broader brand role — not just designing, but helping shape how the brand is seen, held, and experienced.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Packaging & Label Design for new and seasonal products
- Retail Display & Visual Merchandising: bring creative direction to how products are presented in-store
- Brand Development: help shape the look and feel of new product lines
- Collaborative Brand Cohesion: work with our digital and PR team to maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels
- Shop-Based Creative Studio: work on-site from our boutique shop where you can test ideas, get real-time feedback, and interact with customers occasionally to stay grounded in their experience
You Might Be a Good Fit If You...
- Have a strong eye for layout, materials, colour, and packaging trends
- Understand how physical design shapes customer experience
- Are comfortable working independently in a shop-based workspace
- Are excited by artisan food, sustainability, and sensory product branding
- Want to grow beyond just “graphic design” into brand direction, styling, and product presentation
- Enjoy collaborating, but don’t need hand-holding
- Bonus: experience with retail, visual merchandising, or physical product design
Your Setup
