The Billing Assistant is an integral part of Latham’s Billing team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Revenue Business Partners and Billing Coordinators in all aspects of the billing process, while performing finalisation of invoices in line with internal and external regulation and legislation, including Value-AddedTax (VAT), Criminal Finances Act Solicitor’s Accounts Rules, and Money Laundering regulations. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:- Processing of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) write offs as appropriate
- Applying Billed On Account balances as requested
- Supporting the Manager, Revenue Business Partners, Billing Coordinators, and E-Billing Coordinators with ad hoc requests
- Processing time/costs transfers and narrative edits to timecards as required
- Liaising with Billing Coordinators to ensure all invoices are generated and queries are responded to in a timely manner
