We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Handle food preparation tasks as required, including baking pastries or preparing light snacks.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep inventory stocked and assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash registers.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
