We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Skills
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
